I never know what the thing was at the head of a grave and now I do. It's called a Headstone. People put it there on graves to tell the dead person's name and when they died. Sometimes they write something on their to tell about the person's life

I learned what an Amuse Bouche is. An Amusè Bouche is an appetizer. It means "mouth amuser" in french. I did not know this before I first read this book.

ReplyDeleteI never knew that Ben was a spy. It sounded cool to read and fun. I thought that Ben was going to stay for his life at the school. It would be rely nice to stay at the school. I did not know that they had a tunnel under the school.

I learned that a character is very easily corrupted by power.
The main character has a power that can be increases by finding amplifiers. To get these amplifiers you have to kill a particular innocent mythical creature. My character wants more power but to what price? As I read the secant book I will find out if she goes after the final amplifier or if she stops. Either of those choices would be catastrophic for her and her country.
