Tonight I read the Wind in the Door written by Madeleine L 'Engle. I read page 62 through page 69. In the book I am reading, the main characters,Charles Wallace and Meg, decided to listen to the teacher. I would not listen to the teacher because he came out of no where. I would not trust him.

DeleteLast two sentences in your paragraph, check the spelling of "there." It should be spelled "their."
Remember to capitalize the first word of a sentence within quotation marks.
Tonight I read Mockingjay written by Suzanne Collins. I read page 97 through page 108
ReplyDeleteNot really sure what I'm supposed to do if nothing that has happened that I don't agree with with a certain character so I'm just going to do a summary. Katniss had to do a mission recently. She went to district 8 And had to go into a hospital and go and help everybody. Everyone there were injured from the bombings on district 8 so people had like big cuts from metal and without legs and arms. When Katniss came into the room everybody started whispering about Katniss because they were also amazed to see her. So all of them were shouting her name. Somebody outside was alerting everybody inside the word giant ships above the hospital the people in the hospital, get out but Katniss her friend Gayle and everybody went out to see what was happening. They were hovercrafts with bombs so they ran all the way out of district 8 one of them hit Katniss but she was okay. Then they ran into the forest away from district 8 and they looked back at the hospital they were in the whole thing was gone.
Tonight I read The Hunger Games written by Suzan Collins. I read page 70 through page 81. In the book I am reading, the main character, Katniss decided to run away with dale. I don't agree that she should do that, because she will leave her family and that won't be good, because Katniss is in charge of her family. Her mom is always sad after her husband died so she does nothing.
ReplyDeleteThe word "because" is not a conjunction so it does not need a comma before it. When you use the word "because" in place of the word "and," you actually change the second independent clause to a dependent clause.

Tonight I read Magic Tree House written by Mary Pope Osborne. I read page 43 through page 48. Jack and Annie were helping people get off the Titanic. Then someone said, "I found fireworks, can I light them?" Jack said no because it could hit someone. But then he lit them because he was in a safer area. I think that was not a good idea to set off the fireworks because someone could get hurt. It was unsafe to be out in the cold water and to set off fireworks.

1. Your title needs capitalization corrections.
Delete2. Remove the period after your title but add a period after the name of the author.
3. Remember to capitalize "i" because, well, you ARE important!
4. Let's work on your punctuation for the quotation together.

ReplyDeleteIn the book I am reading, the main character, Harry decided to leave the room at night when he his not supposed to be out of bed. Malfoy told Harry to meet him somewhere at night. Ron and Hermione came and Malfoy tricked him. I do not agree with Harry leaving because a lot of points got taken off of Griffindor because they got caught.

Tonight I read Who was Rosa Parks. Written by Harrison and Mcdonough. I read pages 30 through page 45.
ReplyDeleteIn the book I am reading, my main character, Rosa Parks, made the decision to stand up for her civil rights. Her decision that changed history was while taking the bus to sit in a seat that was for the white person and she refused to move. I agree with this decision because it was not fair that some people had to sit in the back and others had to sit in the front because of their skin color. I agree with her decisions because it changed history.

Kitto was trying to find out if there was a rat abord the ship that was giving of their position. There was a big fight and so he then foynd out that the rat was his best friend van. During the battle he fell to the water where the sharks were waiting to eat people so when he fell in to the water a shark took a chunk out of his leg so he was pulled onto a row boat where his mother helped him. When they were out at sea a great storm over came them and they were beached on a small island with savages.

ReplyDeleteCharles was taking Buddy and Flash on a walk. They went with one of Charles is friends. It was fun for Buddy and Flash to see dogs and run around with at the dog park. Then when they got home Buddy and Flash was so sleepy.

ReplyDeleteIn my book today i read about how jack and Annie went to the city of Pompeii. To recover a magic book Annie is very worried about their journey because she does not feel safe in Pompeii. The earth was shaking, the birds were gone, and the sea was boiling they try to get into the amphitheater to see a gladiator fight but they are too young so they start looking for the book again. Annie meets a soothsayer who tells them where the library is.i wish they could have gone to the gladiator fight and i hope they find the book.

ReplyDeleteLizzie and Charles think they found a home for Flash. Buddy will be so sad when Flash goes to a different family. I hope that does not happened to Buddy or Flash. They love to play together and sleep and eat. I think what will happened next is that Flash will get to stay with Buddy.

ReplyDeleteSummary: Kendra is in her school and on that day a new kid comes but Kendra see's that he is perfectly not human. But when Kendra thinks that her friends see the same thing they do not. They see that he is the cutest boy with blond hair and muscles. When Kendra's best friend gets a kiss from him she said that he had dog breath. On their way to the house Kendra and Seth bumped into a street magician who asked them if they knew a man named Stan. Kendra said "Stan is our grandfather".

Annie wants to go inside but jack wants stick with his book and read about what it is.I hope jack and Annie find out what the loud noises are and do not get caught.
