Sadie Kane here. I think he choose that sentence because it shows Sadie is talking. Plus It lets the reader kinda know thats its like the characters are speaking through a recording. It also lists a characters name.

ReplyDeleteThe first sentence of my book is " On the morning of June 3, the mason climbed carefully onto the highest level of the roof." I think this is a very important part of the book because the author is kind of setting the scene for everyone and telling us that nothing weird or bad is going on. It also tells the reader that it is just a regular day but something that isn't normal is about to happen. The author is kind of giving the reader a clue about what will happen next. I also think that the author is telling the reader that there is about to be something big that will be important later in the book and that you need to remember. I can not wait to find out what happens next.

I think my Artist wrote this sentence because you want to let the writer knows about basketball. An that he wants to tell the reader that a character in the book likes basketball. It's pretty hard to explain the sentence because it is only three words. But I think you chose the sentence just to tell the Reader that it's about an teen that is good at basketball.
