Evan was looking for Grandma. Evan was worried about grandma because Evan did not know where she went and it was snowing outside. While Evan was out looking for grandma, he saw Pete. Pete asked Evan what was going on and Evan told Pete. Evan and Pete made a plan. Evan would go home and stay inside and wait for a phone call from the police or Grandma. Pete would go to town to see if he could find Evan’s mom. Evan felt guilty about letting Grandma go outside in the snow. Evan decided to go to the bell, but there was nothing there. Evan realized that he needed Jessie’s help. Then he heard a scream and shattering glass.

I read The Wish Stealers. In this book Griffin Penshine, a sixth grader, went to a nearby shop at the beginning of the book. There, Grammy Penshine, and a mysterious old woman where there. Her name was Maria, and gave a shiny penny to Griffin. When Griffin got home, she read a secret note under her closet. She then became a wish stealer. Griffin knew something was wrong, and tried to appoint with Maria. However, that morning Maria died. Now, with Griffin as a Wish stealer, she now has to somehow return the wishes that she stole. ReplyDeleteSo far in my book Calder talked to this man on the street who was walking by while Calder was walking to school. The man told Calder that he should be ready for people to compliment him on the speech that he made on the Robbie House. During the speech about the Robbie House his class had ripped up a bunch of art that they made, that their teacher Ms.Hussy had brought in to school. When Calder got to school Ms.Hussy told the class about some things. The next day Calder saw the front of the news paper and it said Murder In Hyde Park. On his way to school Calder saw yellow cation tape. I think that might have been were the murder was but I am not sure. I think Calder might try to investigate this. The murder might be a connection to the Robbie house mystery but I am not sure. I can not wait to find out what happens next.
