Dear journal I just went through the gates to the under world. My friends and I got cough by a giant three-headed dog. We were scared at first but then Annabeth saved us from the dog by using a red ball as a toy. We walked through the under world streets and hid when we saw a ghoul guard or a Furies. We’ve been through a lot just to get here to the under world to get back Zeus's lightning bolt and my mom.

Dear Journal I have done so much fun stuff Like make new friends. I have even been on a boat called the Hispanola and it seems really big and cool I have even been on another ship and its a pirate ship. Another thing i have done is hidden in a apple barrlle to hide from some pirates so they would not catch me and i never got caught i was so lucky. I have also been on the island as well and got some fresh air. I love this trip and i wander what is next. see you later.

Today is the day after my birthday. For my birthday I had my friend Amanda and brother Ty with me at my party. While Amanda was dressed very formal, Ty and I were dressed pretty casual. I have had fun although I wish I was dressed better. But after all it was a good party because I decided it is my birthday and it is just fine to be without formalness. Before Amanda left we opened presents and after she left we went out to dinner. It was a great party and I am so excited to be eleven but don't want to change.
