I think Artemis would give up searching for his Dad. I think he would do this for the sake of getting hostage money from the fairies. I think after lent he would continue searching for his dad. I think he would use the hostage money from the fairies to fund an expedition to search for his missing Father.

Gaia would not take it seriously. She would say almost being killed. But she would not take it serious. She never was one to follow a crowd. Lent would have no effect on her except at Ella and Georges house. Ella would have them eating her shakes and they would all starve because Georges cooking is awful. Lent is not a big thing for Gaia. I am not even sure if she is Christen. Or if she has a religion.

Eric would give up his hunting license. He is twelve and wanted to go hunting all his life. He just finished taking his hunting test. He has not gone even once. He is very excited about going hunting. Hunting would be a good thing for Eric to give up for Lent.

If Anna were to participate in lent she would give up beef jerky for 40 days. She would give it up, because beef jerky is her favorite food. Her brother will give up m and m’s because that’s his favorite food. They would not eat any beef jerky or m and m’s at the farm.

I think that if Nikki in my book were to give up anything, she would probably give up journaling for a couple of days. Mostly because it is fun and all, but i think it can also make her think to much about her day and get kind of sad and stressed out. And i know she couldnt give it up forever, she would probably just give it up for a couple weeks and if she felt happier and not as sad and stressed, she would stay off and if she really liked it she could go back to it.

I think Ben would want to give up sleeping with Grandpa. He always called Ben, boy-chick. If he couldn't sleep with grandpa, to him it would be heaven. If that happened in the book, I wonder what he would give up for 40 days.

I think Zoe might not like this. But, if she HAD to do it, she would probably keep away from cake. It would be for her own good since it was a new year's resolution. Secretly, she would not enjoy it though. She might even try to sneak a piece of cake.

If Cassandra gave up something, that would be: Finding Mystery Things.
Cassandra loves to search for magicians that are dead or alive. It is her interest. If Max-Ernest had to give up something... Hmm I can't think of anything for him to give up. Sorry I didn't post this yesterday or this morning because Safari and Google Chrome wouldn't work so I am on Firefox. I hope this works
