I think that Slatebeard is the best at "Listening with understanding and empathy". I think Slatebeard is the best at "Listening with understanding and empathy" because he is old and wise. Another reason is that Slatebeard understands that some of the dragons have never been outside the valley and wouldn't be used to finding another place to live. Another reason is most of the characters in the book are proud, arrogant, angry, and not very wise, or are not good listeners. -Max
I Bradon is the best at it. He listines to Nikki and what she has to say. I listines to other people to very well. He can fell people and what hurts them. He is very touching and easy to talk to even when you have a crush on him.
I think Fang is the best listener because me never talks and he only listens to other people so he sometimes knows what the bad guy is going to do if he ease drops. Which he dose allot. Also he likes Max and she talks allot so he has to listen all so he can blind into the background witch is good fro ease dropping. That is why Fang is a good listener. -Taylor
I would choose Leo because he is always there in the book. Leo listens to other people when they’re not looking. He always listens to Rafe when Rafe really needs to talk. I would also choose Rafe because he listens to the teachers. Rafe also listen to his friend Leo. -Kate
I think that the youngest dwarf is the best listener because he his so quiet. The dwarf has a shy personality and so he is not good at giving ideas but is grate at remembering ideas. The youngest dwarf is so good at listening that he can eavesdrop from far away. He is also good at making people happy because he listens with understanding and empathy super uper well.

Mrs. Masterson (I think Madeleine is her daughter) Listens With Understand and Empathy because when Ms. Masterson talks to Madeleine (Maddy is a nickname) she talks in a normal tone of voice and isn't scared at all. Maddy's mom always is always to hear about Maddy's day! If Madeleine is fibbing, Mrs. Masterson will ask to made sure this is not a joke. Maddy is also scared about a camp and Mrs. Masterson is telling Maddy it isn't scary. Camp is fun!
There is one character in my book. His name is Brian he got in a plane crash and he is lost in the forest. There is no one in my book to have empathy. I understand empathy as I was lost one time.
I think Katniss is listening with understanding and empathy is the best at it because she cares about Rue the most. For example, when Rue dies, Katniss will be sad and enraged. She is also a good friend to the ones she loves. I think she will help Peeta and she will find medicine. People always had respect for her because she cared a lot when someone is sad. Gabe
